To protect the water supply, KAKETSUKEN is under a profit-sharing forestry contract with the District Forest Office regarding a 6.24-ha national forest in Yabe town, in Kumamoto prefecture. Having planted 18,720 zelkova and maple trees since 1997, KAKETSUKEN is also working towards environmental protection.
